Buddy's Pizza

Detroit style. Heavy pie. Great crust on the edges like a pan pizza. Tastes like cheesy bread with sauce. Different but good.

Little heavy on the crust, but crunchy good cheese has a tang to it. Overall, it’s OK not the best Detroit style I’ve had.

Fluffy. As expected. Tomato’s in the sauce, pow! Crust like butter. First Detroit pizza, I’m a fan.

Good Detroit Style. Score maybe a little low. I ordered and payed waited 20 minutes, went in to ask and they realized my ticket never printed. Had to wait another 20. They were very nice and apoplectic, sure this isn’t the norm. Would like to comeback and eat in sometime. Cool place. Good Pizza.

Not the best Detroit style but also not nearly the worst.

Good balance of flavor and texture.

Buddy’s didn't disappoint. Lighter, fluffier, cruchier crust than a lot of Detroit-style pizzas. Sauce had good balance. Toppings were fresh and plentiful.

I loved the names of the pizzas more than the actual pies themselves. I tried a pizza known as “Detroit Public TV” as well as one called the “Detroiter”. Neither was significantly better than the other and overall the pies were kind of average. Place had a cool vibe and servers were friendly, but the pizzas took almost an hour and the staff’s communication was almost non-existent to update me as to what was happening.

Got a Detroit Public TV pizza. It was ok. Wouldn’t say it’s any better than Jets or even Little Caesars.

Got the thin 4 square. Not a bad bite, crust was crispy which is a plus obviously.

Really good the sauce is sweet and sour with a lil bit of spice because of the black pepper and was served hot really recommended this place I say 7.5 because that cheese stretch is to die for

CRISP. I’m not into Detroit style pizza because I always feel like it’s just dough, but this pizza was great. The sauce had great tang, and the cheese was perfectly melted. Definitely worth trying if in the area. Premium toppings as well!

The OG Detroit style pizza. Delicious. Be there, or be “square”.

I got the Detroiter. Unbelievable. Great crust, tasty sauce, good cheese to sauce ratio, minimal flop, great pepperoni, all in an awesome location. This is as close to perfect pizza as I’ve had.
