Pretty darn tasty but not pizza.

Delish Detroit style pizza. Crispy burnt cheese on corners. Sauce proper tang. Normal style is great but thin Detroit style truly awesome as is thin but keeps Detroit style crunch and flavor. Atmosphere is old school original. Pro tip get extra marinara and order garlic bread

Great pizza, great sauce and crunch

The last review I got to do while in Michigan. This was an overall good pizza flavor was great well cook the edges just perfect. This would of got a much higher score if the sauce wasn’t overpowering the rest of the pizza.

Crust is good. I can’t taste the sauce. The cheese is so light that it’s tripping my mind.

I had high hopes for this one because it is the original. Very solid, but could have been cooked longer and it would have made it in the 8s.

Frozen from gold belly but truly special.

Let me start by saying I was beyond excited to visit the original location. We’re over a week in to the reopening of indoor dining so I was hoping to get a look inside but they’re running a very efficient curbside/parking lot pick up right now. Very polite man grabbed my order. As far as the food goes I’m unfortunately pretty disappointed. As I mentioned in the video this was a salty salty pizza, maybe the cheese? Pizza was cooked well but each bite got worse. I couldn’t even give you an opinion on the sauce as I was just overwhelmed with the salt. The pizza itself was lacking in toppings and size for the price. $12 I also grabbed 10 wings which were small and over cooked. Pretty dry. I sad to have went below a 6 on this but I’m hoping for a better experience at a different location. Maybe the new one downtown.

Cheese square slice. I was excited for this. I love Detroit pizza but was really bummed here. Cheese was salt and gross, wasn’t crispy. Overall disappointment

Got the Detroiter, which was unreal! The wall is thinner than some other Detroit Style Pizzerias but it has a unique taste that keeps you wanting more. The right amount of texture, chew and crunch was perfect. I also really like the amount of sauce they put on, which had an old school Italian taste. Not that much cheese but that’s Buddy’s way and it works!

The Detroiter is an absolute must. Time after time an amazing pizza.

The original Detroit style. At the original restaurant. Crust and cheez lace edge are the star of the show. Not horrible at all.

Good Detroit style pizza. Had the Public TV which was good, crisp edges, good sauce, but could’ve had more pepi roni, honestly. I ordered 4 slices but they were smaller than I thought they’d be. Could’ve downed 8 without blinking. We also ordered regular with bacon (not pictured). THAT was the move and easily low 8s.
