Buddy's Pizza

Buddy’s is an institution and a must-try slice of Motor City tradition — solid, satisfying, and reliably good.

Classic Detroit pizza - rectangle med dish with crust emphasis. A little on the salty side in my opinion and also slightly greasy but not overly so that it collapsed on itself. Difference maker is the crust which most of the flavor comes from. Solid upper middle 7s.

Compromise.

Heavy but delicious! If I lived here…I would be here often.

This is hands down the best pizza I have ever eaten. In town on business and the locals recommended Buddy’s Pizza. The crust is absolutely perfect! The sauce is tangy with a hint of sweetness! The toppings are garden fresh!!! I’m sad I do not have a Buddy’s in Maryland.
