NY guy in Detroit area for work. Never had Detroit style. Damn good pizza, even though it looks weird! Definitely had more than 1 bite!

The Shelby location is 100% better than the Rochester hill location. It tasted a lot better and coasts less which is weird. It’s not great pizza but pretty good. My rating: 8 Dave’s rating: 7.3

Detroit style. Beautiful crust. Crispy exterior and soft interior. Sauce is savory and perfectly seasoned, just the right amount. Cheese is spot on. Well done.

We got the “Super” and were not disappointed. Buddy’s sauce is great. Cheese is fresh. Crust has a good crunch.

This is the original Detroit style pizza. The sauce is a perfect blend of delicious tomatoes, the pepperoni is hidden underneath that fresh mozzarella, and the crust is what makes this pizza. You can’t come to Detroit and not have a Buddy’s pizza.

The crust makes the pizza great. Like lava when it’s ready though be careful. Detroit original!
