Burattino Brick Oven Pizza

Very disappointed considering all the high scores on the app. Crust had some crisp which was the only positive. Flavorless crust, hardly any cheese, sauce not very good. Had better frozen pizza.

I e been eating pizza for a long time and this place is by far, one of the best I’ve ever tried. Pizza comes out crisp, hot, and ready to eat and if you dip it in their special garlic sauce, it’s even better. This is a MUST try if you’re in the area.

Crust was on point. Thin, crispy, flavorful. Black garlic sauce was packed with flavor. Cheese was a bit underwhelming. Over all it was very good slice.

Dave needs to do a pizza review on this place because it’s amazing

Darker pep is wild boar, supposed to be leaner and less greasy. Normal pep is much better and it’s fire. Perfect under carriage. Solid crunch and not too cheesy.

Got this great thin crust pizza from their Carson location. Could have been crispier as it comes out floppier than most thin/cracker crust pizzas, yet still maintains the char and crunch around the edges.

4 people agree, we had 3 say it’s a “10” and one said “9.9.” It’s not NY pizza, but it’s brick oven pizza masquerading as NY pizza, great crisp, great crust, great sauce, Great flavor. If you come to review Dave, you must stay at Terrenea Resort, Palos Verdes. We had to hit it up again coming from San Diego.

This is the greatest pizza I’ve ever had. Black Garlic 120 Pepperoni from Burattino’s. The crust and cheese are excellent but it’s the rich, earthy black garlic sauce that makes this so unique. It’s not overpowering at all but instead helps the boar pepperoni really shine. I’ll be chasing this forever.

Finally got to try this place. Their instagrams videos looked legit. The reviews and score showed as a can’t miss. Our pizza looked just like the videos and photos. The crunch when dipping in fresh out of the oven was there. But it’s a thin cracker crust so not much breading at all. Sauce basic. Good but not worth the drive and might be the best in the area. Busy place lots of people like it. But I have had better. It’s a shame had high hopes for this place based on reviews.

I rarely come to San Pedro, but when I do I always save a little time for a pizza. One of my all time favorite pizza spots. Nice thin, crunchy crust. Great flavor and they don’t skimp on toppings.

I’ve flown to Cali from NJ to try this Black Garlic Pie. I know it’s not a plain.. but I’m grading it on a plain pie ( which I had ) & this pie. Great slice. To bad the crunch doesn’t stay long enough as you hope. But No Flop.. and the crust was very thin & tasty. Def a 7.8. Great pie. Worth the trip.

Great pizza! These guys are all over IG, so we ordered a pizza and drove 45 minutes from Huntington Beach to San Pedro to pick it up! It definitely didn’t disappoint! This was the pepperoni, sausage, and olive. Next time I’ll order a plain cheese to make it official! Definitely worth the drive! Do yourself a favor and order in advance. You’ll be waiting in line to pick up your order for sure!
