Burt's Place

This is the best deep dish pizza I’ve had in Chicago so far(I’ve tried 4 places total). Crust was one of the best parts. The pepperoni and sausage + mushroom were both an 8.1! Amazing pizza at Burt’s.

Got half cheese, half mush+sausage. The crust is a beast. Too much almost. I liked the cheese, though the sauce overwhelmed the overall taste *slightly*. But it’s a damn fine sauce, so it’s not a huge complaint. The mush+sausage I’d give an 8.4. Super fresh ingredients

Very good pizza, and worth the drive to get it. The atmosphere is really cool, and the staff was very friendly. Quality of ingredients was very good, and the caramelized crust is crispy and crunchy. Definitely worth a try!

Ordered it to go, so take this as you will. I like the tomato better than Pequods. I have to score them evenly. Try them both.

Burt’s Place is easily the best deep dish pizza in Chicago. Davey Pageviews needs to quit playing AA teams in town and make the trip to the big leagues. The founder was the genius behind some of the pizza joints in Town, including Pequods and Gullivers. Absolutely not to be missed.

Best pan pizza in the state, not even close. Authentic sausage & giardiniera cannot be found, and the mozzarella crust finishes it off. I haven’t been blown away very often, but this did it. If you’re around the area stop by the covered patio bar and have a beer and personal and tip Carol well. Or don’t.

Really really good pizza. Great crisp & flavor. The more I ate the ends, the less I liked them. But overall very very good.

I'm not a deep dish guy, but I've had enough in my life time to know whats good....This is good!

Gold pizza that I will definitely get again. Very solid and I am not a few dish guy. Very solid.
