Ok Frankie we are at Cafe Oro Di Napoli pizza (review time April 25th 6:00pm)... Love the look and the feel of this place right when we first entered we were greeted by a lovely young lady who took our order and we were told that it would be about a 10 minute wait so about 10 minutes later we arrive back at the restaurant only to find that the lady who had taken her order was no longer at the counter but a man just having a casual conversation with a customer (that was not buying anything) dominated the next five minutes or so? At which point there was a effort to greet me which Was followed with the explanation that we were there to pick up a margarita pizza when we realized that the pizza was just sitting on the counter — we knew there was going to be an issue and once they handed us the pizza we could feel by the box that it was stone cold and it had just been left to sit out on the counter and the pie was no longer at its optimum level although the ingredients were fresh and the basil dominated the whole experience the undercarriage was good and the crust had some crisp but Like most fancy pizzas it had some major flop but we don’t hold that against it we just eat them and rate them—-> one bite everyone knows the rules ..... some would call it forgotten cold pizza Frankie - We wouldn’t - some would - We wouldn’t.... in the world of fancy pizzas a 7 out of 10 is usually a pretty good score and in the case of Goodfellas pizza it’s about a 6.8 and this pizza is definitely better than a Goodfellas pizza so this pizza should get about a 7.1 but
I’ll need to deduct one point for The fact that it was stone cold (1 to 10 / one bite / everyone knows the rules / bite it / score it -> 1 thru 10 -> 6.1~> all wrapped into one ! (professional score) Cafe Oro Di Napoli ... good pizza ... could be great but the staff sucks ... we won’t be back 6.1 that’s a review!
