Pizza Review
Let’s start by saying that the easiest way to make a good slice taste bad is to not clean out the ovens. These slices looked great and had good flavors, but the first thing I smelled when I opened the box was the burnt to shit cheese and sauce that no one bothered to scrape out of the oven that was now stuck to the bottom of my slices. Secondly, two different people touched my slices with their bare hands while I watched before they went in the oven. Third, I told the kid “not too hot”, and after he threw them on top of charred cheese in the oven, he went and chatted with a couple of waitresses with his back to me for 5 minutes. This pizza was good, not great, but the service needs work. I think on Long Island, all you need to do is remodel and have a lot of staff on hand and the customers think it’s the best. We’re too quick to settle out here.
