Pizza Review
Finally, Capri's. This is it, my favorite pizza in Indiana. In all my other reviews, I can usually pick one or two shining points of every pizza, but Capri's is the complete package. It has the perfectly cooked thin flour crust, ample cheese, well-seasoned moist Italian sausage pieces, mild pepperoni, and medium (not thick, not runny) blend seasoned sauce with just enough olive oil to accent the non-sweet tomatoes. No detail is over-looked; all the flavors combine into what I believe to be the ideal pizza for any pizza lover. The bite is not crunchy (order "extra thin" for more crispiness), but substantial enough to keep any sogginess at bay. The pizza is cooked with the toppings almost mixed into the cheese; not strictly above or below, which I believe to be why everything tastes unified on every bite. I've been going here for a few years and they are extremely consistent and always have a friendly staff. Dining area is medium sized, but you can tell they get a ton of carry-out. There isn't anything here innovative or new, but that's what makes me to believe they've mastered the craft. Capri's is my pick for best pizza in the region.
