Good flavor, more flop and grease than I expected

Decent hometown pizza. I’m Not a fan of the pizza sauce they use but not a deal breaker.

Wood fired pie. Such great flavor and crust.

Solid pie, will come back again

I’ve had the White Truffle cheese bread, Easy Cheesy, The Healthy, and Pepperoni. Not all at once but responsibly spread over time. All are phenomenal, and have never left me disappointed. You would be remiss to not come down to Captains Ön Main, and grab a pie.

The Truffle Shuffle made me wanna call all the people I’ve wronged in my life and apologize. I’ve never tasted a pizza so good. The Musheroni pizza was just what I needed to conquer my high school bully at my 15yr reunion.

It sat for a bit so that probably lowered the score. Overall fantastic flavor. Good crisp. Very solid

I know Portnoy doesn’t give out 10’s, but from the hospitality of the Owner Nick and his #1 pizzaiolo Jake to the pizza oven straight from Italy; the New Haven style pizza that these guys are serving up is the best in Michigan and deserving of that rating! Give them a try, you won’t regret and will keep coming back for more!

Great pizza! Great service! Usually a long line but they move so quick and are organized so you Usually don't wait long for the pizza. The pizza was big enough for 2-3 people, the sauce was a great balance not to acidic from the tomatoes and not super sweet. The dough was nice not to thick and had a crispy crust with delightful amount of char. The bottom of the pizza was crispy and wasn't floppy or droopy until it had sat for a few minutes and the truffle oil soaked into the bottom. The cheese definitely taste like quality as it melts in the mouth. The cheese covered the pizza eventually and every bite tasted equally sauced. Definitely a top pizza place with the flavor and service would have been a much high score if the pizza was more crispy! 🙌
