Pizza Review
This is a very standard pizza, large and fairly thinnish for a regular style pie. Dough is light and flakey with a rather firm undercarriage and minimal flop, leading to an even flakier crust, somewhat crunchy but very dry. The cheese is generic and tight, spread thoroughly across the pie and harboring a ton of grease. This is a real gusher, oil sliding and dripping with each bite. Despite the delicious garlic flavor, the sauce is MIA, severely lacking, borderline lost among the grease. Overall, it’s not a bad pie but there’s lots of room for improvement. Control the oil flow and spread on another ladle or 2 of sauce and we might be looking at a pizza in the 7s; as it stands, this is a very basic pie.
