Carluccio's Coal Fired Pizza

Yea I went grandmas, yes I know the rules, no I don’t care. Outstanding. Tomatoes and sauce perfect tang, everything perfectly balanced. Great flavor

Very solid needs to be more crispy

Old Greggie got a pizza today, The Gregster said it was nice and soft in the middle the Crust has a nice level of crunch. His Girl gave a rookie score of 8 so we ignore that lol The Gregster gave 7.1

I feel this place was quite overrated. Damn near the most greasy slice I've ever had. For coal fired, again, it was just under done. Not floppy, just no real char. Cheese was blah, sauce was blah. I didn't even finish it. We ordered a couple Sicilian slices, which were actually better, but even more grease. Skip it.

The plain coal-fired pie was delicious. Sauce and cheese were amazing. Only complaint is that it was way too floppy. 8.1.

Great service and atmosphere. Beautiful looking pie with excellent taste. I expected the pizza to be a little more well done being that it’s coal fired. Delicious all around. I’ll be back for sure!

I consider this the best pizza in this area. Grandma’s pie is delicious. Although I prefer a crispier crust it’s just too difficult to find in this area of New Jersey, this crust tastes very good though. This is a square pie and I enjoy the flavors.

Very good. Only thing holding it back is it’s a lil greasy and messy. Flavor wise it’s dam good though.

This is my second time reviewing this place. My advice.. go with the grandma slice. The sauce is delicious, great crisp. I’m not even a fan thick crust pizza and this is my highest score ever given.

Appeared and was very greasy but really good pizza. Good sauce and very crispy. Never had a bad meal here.

Good sauce not very crispy it had a lot of flop. It’s probably way better if you eat it there.

Solid pizza. Lite crust, lite flop, slightly greasy but not bad. Biggest issue was sauce wasn't evenly distributed. When I took a bite with plenty of sauce, I thoroughly enjoyed it. ...and that's a review.

Good sauce and decent crisp and a rather solid crust. Could go a little less on the cheese and more on the crisp.

Plain and grandma slices were phenomenal, great crisp, good use of basil accompanied by the sauce, no flop. That’s a review.
