Ohohoho this is the type of apizza I’m talking about. This is a prototypical fresh Brooklyn pie. This is fucking Brooklyn pizza here. This isn’t a little bitch pizza. This isn’t I grew up on Difara so I’ll take the my trust fund money and open my own pizzeria…looking at you Best Pizza. This right here is legacy pizza. Are they most well known? No. But the winners know them. That’s what counts. They’ve cranking out pies since god knows when. It’s made with heart, it’s made with loyalty, it’s made with honor. If you live around the neighborhood and you decide to buy your hipster friends pizza. Order two pies. Carmines and Son and Tony’s. Your hipster friends will be going back home and big timing all his high school bullies after eating those two pies.

Perfectly crisp crust, layers of flavor (love the basil in the sauce), fresh ingredients. Highly recommend a mushroom and pepperoni pie but you can’t go wrong. This is an excellent slice shop.

Very solid football style pizza. A little heavy on the cheese but the cheese is good quality and tasty. Crust and sauce are solid too

Plain slice: 8.2 Good brooklyn slice,pretty greasy or else would’ve been rated higher Upside down slice: 8.9 The sauce is the star of the show here, so fresh complimented by great crisp. You won’t regret this slice.

Solid place, solid pie. This is the Calabrese (I ORDERED well done hence the char, as desired)

Regular pie does not have enough tomato sauce. Specialty pie had runny sauce. :(

Very solid New York slice, quality ingredients, zesty sauce and perfect cheese combination. It really doesn’t get much better than this. What all the new overpriced hipster pizza joints wish they could be.

Margarita need just a little something more. You could taste the freshness in both slices however. Baby Luc’s NEEDS this much sauce on their slices and would bring them to low 9 range. Marg 7.9 vodka 8.0

Best crust I've had yet. Sauce was excellent too. Many other great slices here!

Was gonna try the Barstool 7.8 rated cheese slice but the pepperoni tomato square was just so good looking with all those crispy mouthwatering pepperoni cups that I just had to go for it.....and boy am I glad I did as the slice tasted as great as it looked. Each bite was filled with an explosion of the plentiful "roni" goodness. The balanced combination of the saltiness of the pepperoni and sweetness of the sauce with the soft firm crust gives this slice a well deserved 8.4

Good quality slice with fresh mozzarella. Slightly floppy but the Yankee memorabilia in the restaurant solidified this eight-range score. Note, a better slice than Tony’s across the street (even though Prez disagrees).

Very floppy, good sauce and crust. I thought Tony’s across the street was better.

Carmine’s was on point last night. Just came by to drop an 8.1

Great fresh slice. Didn’t try the regular slice but the pepperoni is no joke. Doesn’t make the 8s but it an excellent slice.

Cheese slice. Was a pretty good slice cheese and sauce needed a little something, like a kick or sweeter
