Got the Daisy (tomato sauce, mozzarella and basil), but added pepperoni to keep it consistent with my other reviews. Big disclaimer: this was only a 10” pie, so a bit harder to judge compared to a full pizza.
It was excellently cooked, with light, fluffy crust that was delicious; great cheese and a semi-sweet sauce that wasn’t too overwhelming. They nailed the pepperoni: it was thin sliced like salami, which I usually don’t prefer, but was cooked so well I loved it. They threw on the faintest hint of parm topping as well, which was a nice touch.
Only thing I would really ding this pizza for is too much char on the outside crust. Given it was only 10” in size, the char was just a little too prevalent in the taste as you ate. Also the basil was a bit cooked down as it sat under the pepperoni and cheese; I think it would have been better as a more undercooked/crisper addition to the top.
Again, would love to try one of their pizzas in a 14”+ for comparison.
