Ordered by the slice. More often than not I find that I can tell if a pizza place is good or not by how they fold the bag on their slices. When they fold the bag inward, it’s a good sign. When they fold it over, typically not good. I had high hopes here based on their bag fold. I’ll say off the bat that the slice needed to be heated more. That said, the crust was excellent, it was thin, it was crisp, it had good hydration. As usual, a little too much cheese for my liking and a little greasy. Sauce wasn’t setting any records, but wasn’t bad, could’ve used a bit more complexity and flavor. Little if any rim on the pizza, but that’s not a bad thing considering the crust was as light and crispy as it was. I would definitely come here again, but next time order a pie vs a slice

Undercarriage was solid, sauce had a good flavor, thin crust pizza. Negatives very greasy, crust was forgetful.

I’m a big fan of the plain and the tomato pie. It is one of the nest tomato pies I have ever had. I was really surprised . The quality is fantastic.

Really great pizza. Thin, crunchy crust, and holds it shape well. Good quality cheese, which didn't cause much grease. Sauce had a fresh, light, and sweeter flavor. Nothing tasted over salted.

Pizza was ok, thin but greasy. Possibly would be higher score if my pizza did t bake in the box for ever. Slow service and rude staff.

Near perfect. Sausage is amazing, garlic is there but not overpowering, and crust is crisp as can be. Great flavor and a top pie for sure

Since moving to North Jersey a few months ago, we’ve tried quite a few places. This was hands down the solid favorite in our house. Everything about it was perfect. Crispy, flavorful dough, sauce and cheese, no grease. We also got the Sicilian. Also the best square pizza I’ve had here. Worth the 35min drive and then some. 👍👍

Got slices. Margarita and sausage slices. Minimal to no flop, crisp was sort of there on the undercarriage. Crust was good. Not too greasy. Good football pizza.

Great slice. Crust is the best part. Sauce was unique. Had a sweeter component than most pizza's.

Been to most of the hot spots of NJ, and honestly the crispiest pizza I've had. Crispier than the Columbia inn's, Conte's, Ralph's, and De Lorenzo's. Get the classic margarita with no cheese and add the parmigiano. If the sauce had more bite it would be closer to a 9.

This place is the real deal - excellent pizza just had a reheat and yikes - is this one of the best in NJ? Might be. It’s up there - I hope Dave doesn’t review it because I think they’ll be slammed and that’s less pizza for me.

Just chillin out in the ever popular denville nj! Awesome place here man and the way they cook the pies is cool started off in a traditional oven then finished off in the sick wood burning one. Straight out it burned my fucking face off but was worth it. Crust taste takes over and it’s thin but not cooked out thin either. Char is real and under looks like a NH pie, cheese has a lot of flavor and had that perfect mix into the sauce being cooked well done and maybe a touch over powering the sauce. Overall this place is great and the guys inside were awesome too as they all seemed pretty proud of it.

I’m not very eloquent. The Brooklyn pie (pictured) is fucking bomb and so is the vodka square and margherita. Try for yourself.

What a great end to the work season! This pizza fuckin slaps. They call it a “Brooklyn”. Cheese on bottom, sauce on top. Great crisp undercarriage. The sauce was tangy! Bright and tomatoey. I dont know if i’ve been gone for too long up North and my scoring system is fucked, or if this pizza was this good, but im going 8.5. It was slightly cooled off by the time i had the chance to eat it, so theres a chance this score goes up the next time im in jersey. Thanks for the zah Dan!

It’s a bit too salty, not a great cheese to sauce ratio, some flop, but the crust was great
samantha.joan2/15/20, 1:27 a.m.
Too much flop. Undercooked, and the dough took over the pizza flavor.
