Casa D Pizza

Ordered by the slice. More often than not I find that I can tell if a pizza place is good or not by how they fold the bag on their slices. When they fold the bag inward, it’s a good sign. When they fold it over, typically not good. I had high hopes here based on their bag fold. I’ll say off the bat that the slice needed to be heated more. That said, the crust was excellent, it was thin, it was crisp, it had good hydration. As usual, a little too much cheese for my liking and a little greasy. Sauce wasn’t setting any records, but wasn’t bad, could’ve used a bit more complexity and flavor. Little if any rim on the pizza, but that’s not a bad thing considering the crust was as light and crispy as it was. I would definitely come here again, but next time order a pie vs a slice
