Never left a review on this app. Didn’t even have an account, just had it for the best spots around. Made an acc. just for this place cuz I felt I need to do it justice. Very good pizza, balance of ingredients and flavors. Impeccable hold. The slices I’ve had here had very little to no drop and stand at attention like a Marine. Talked to the owner, great guy. The one Dave reviewed is the old owner who I guess this new guy bought out and he wants him to come back to give the updated place a review. I try to be unbiased as possible and I’ve tried A LOT of pizza places around here and the globe. Top notch pizza, dough and crust is actually very flavorful, unlike some other pizzas, that are good, but have meh, or bland dough. Tried to knots as well, definitely in the conversation for top 3 garlic knots I’ve ever had. Very garlicky while not too greasy or too dry- 9.2 on the knots. Also had a few slices once and they brought it out on a nice tray so points for presentation.

Great classic pizza

First of all, take a look at the beautiful plate my lunch was served on...absolutely gorgeous. 8.3 garlic knots, fluffy and full of flavor, the marinara dip was good if a bit generic 7.2 grandma slice, the sauce on top was yummy, the crisp was on point but the garlic notes that usually come with grandma pizzas was missing 6.7 chicken parm slice, the slice was heavy with cheese and loaded nicely with the chicken but the chicken was dry and rubbery, I've had way better chicken parm slices than that. The food here thankfully didn't make me feel Sleepy or Hollow. This is quite a bit better than Hollywood, and I have yet to visit the Beekman Ale house.
