Pizza Review
Good sauce, needs to be cooked longer. Great owner.
Pizza Review
These are some of the nicest people out there. Love the staff and the owner there who started his recommendations With the white sauce pizza. That was a little suspicious to me, but I kinda get it. When I said I’m kinda simple guy he threw the meatball and basil is amazing at me, so I couldn’t resist getting a slice of meatball and basil along side the standard. Ok one thing I’ve noticed around here is there are restaurants that advertise pizza by the slice and have signs up everything. Then you go in and there is no visible pizza counter where you can look at the pie. I should have known better just from that fact alone. But I ordered and was in a great mood because the staff and owner were so cool. Then we sat in the waiting area for about five mins before we got bored and went to the bar. Oh but no seats open there. So we got a table in the restaurant, and it wasn’t really busy so I didn’t feel like we were taking a table waiting. We ordered drinks , waited some more. It had to be close to 40 minutes. Forty minutes for two slices! You can easily cook like 3 or four pies in that time...cmon! What the hell was going on? Anyway, the owner saw us as he gabbing up the other there couples in there and got someone to take care of us. Out comes the two slices and free first timer knots. As you can clearly see in the pic there is no basil on my meatball and basil slice. I don’t get it. So for the pizza, they actually got it all right with the cheese. It’s true any style crust, but I’ll say had minimal to no crisp. Nice chew and texture, but a little on the soft side in the initial bite down. The sauce was the by far the best part of the pizza, and was frankly some of the best sauce I’ve had in awhile. And they know it because they put more than average on the pizza. So kudos to them on that. The cheese was decent, but overall I’d say it’s a good pizza. I’d definitely go back If I were in The area again and had time to sit down and order a whole pie. No slices at these places anymore where ya can’t see the pizza on the counter or nearby. I’m gonna score this fairly though, and not let the wait kill the buzz here. These were such good people. But no basil. And it was the house recommendation. Two really odd things right there. Oh well.
