Catania's Pizza - Mohegan Lake

I used the Doordash app to place a pickup order for this beautiful wood fired pie you see here, and I had the option to have parm cheese, oregano and red pepper applied during cooking, which I gladly accepted. The red pepper made the shit spicy but I fucking loved it!! A little bit of flop at the tip keeps this out the 9s.

A bit doughy but very good sauce and cheese. No flop

$3 gas oven slice on a Friday night. Had this right before Benvenuto's II. This is nearly a whole point better, though I had to deduct a bit because my slice is wonky. Crust is light, pliable, and even a bit airy. It was mediumly browned on the bottom. Solid crust. Though the end's way too big. More cheese and sauce could've gone to that edge. Sauce? Just the right hint of oregano and a bit of garlic too. A light, thin sauce. Wish there was more though. Cheese? Diet amount of cheese on it. Not greasy. Salty. Pretty good. Not one review has mentioned this but they also do ***wood fired*** personal pies. Don't see any pictures of them here or online. Definitely coming back for that.

My stupid wife ate up all the gabagool at home so when I passed Catania’s I was feeling relieved. Unfortunately, my bad day got even worse. Tough, stale crust, bad sauce, a burnt smell. This is BAD football pizza. Almost zero gusto. The cheese had a shred of flavor, had it not I would’ve scored in the 3’s. When the crust, the very foundation of your pizza, is stale you’re gonna have a bad day. This slice was 100% left out overnight.

Best pizza around hands down! Order a large wood fired thin crust and do yourself a favor and eat it in house.

Solid thin Slice....Mini Calzones are really good also....gotta do a pie next time

Very solid, great crust, nice oils, great cheese, nice crisp, and a nice sauce. Just wish there was

Sausage pie. Could use more cheese. When they first opened they were great with the ratio of cheese to toppings now it’s slacking.

Medium flop, a little oily. Almost no sauce on the slice. Way too much dough in the crust. Decent ingredients with no major flavor dominating. The bottom was a bit too “charred”. Avoid the slice, maybe the pie is better?

Best pizza in the area. Good doughy crust with fresh ingredients.

Solid cheese slice good crust good cheese. Sicilian slice is 9.2 easy.

Excellent wood fired pizza, get a pie, not a slice.

Needed a little more seasoning and a little greasy. Sicilian slice was excellent and if I had to rate it would be 8.4 for Sicilian.

Head and shoulders better than its competition in this area. Great crisp, oils, cheese, sauce, everything. Blandish crust is the only deduction. Excellent.
