CENTRAL Pizza + Bar Lafayette

This is one of the only edible pizzas in Lafayette. It’s a little messy, but I think that’s due to the honey. The pepperoni is so thin, it adds taste without pools of grease. The crust is more chewy than crispy, but it’s tasty. In theory, it’s not a pizza I would like, but it works. And it’s definitely the only pizza in town that I occasionally crave.

I have had pizza from New York all the way to California. Pizza in the Keys to pizza in the Caribbean. I do my base pizza as a pepperoni. This right here is a 9.1 all day!! The only thing that beats this pizza out is New Haven pizza! This is a must to try!

Good solid wood fire. Nice tangy sauce. Crust needed needed another minute or so for me but it did have good char.

got the curly sue and margherita with the chili aioli. crust is phenomenal. it’s got the perfect initial crisp while still being soft and pillowy. the pistachio pesto lives in my dreams. i’m a big sauce girl, so the chili aioli really did something for me. overall one of the best pizzas i’ve had.

Crunchy crust, great flavors and seasonings, fresh ingredients, and fairly priced. I ate the whole pizza in one sitting. It was delicious! I ordered the Margarita pizza but they didn’t have any basil. Next time I go I’ll try it with the basil and rescore.

We shared the meatball & garlic ricotta pizza with small “curly” pepperonis added. Crust is thin with a good crispy chew. Toppings are fresh and plentiful. Wishing for a heavier hand of tangier sauce with more spice.

Great pizza, crust and cheese were perfect. A little light on the sauce but other than that perfect! The Brussels appetizer is a must!!!
