Ceres

Felt like a pilgrimage stop while waiting for this pie. Had numerous conversations with others who were as excited as me to try this pizza. It delivered on all accounts. Ingredients felt on another level. Cooked perfectly. Presentation was iconic. Do it!!!!!

When social media pushes for thin and crispy and you end up with matzoh crust. Sauce sour. Cheese light. Don't trust the insta.

Good flavor excellent bite. A little burnt and thin doe but overall a great pizza

Worth the hype. Worth taking a day off work for. Worth waiting in line an hour before opening on a weekday. Best pizza in NYC.

Believe the hype: this is indeed one of the best pizzas Manhattan has to offer. Yes, my friend and I waited nearly over 30 minutes to just place the order and 45 minutes to pick it up (not to mention it was over $40 for one pie), but it was worth it. It has that classic thin NY style where you hear the crisp the second you bite into it. It’s a great combination of flavor between the sauce and cheese that’s balanced well, not overpowering the other. There’s not much grease.

A rookie score but a fair score for a new NY superstar. Unreal crisp, super crunchy if that’s your thing and absolutely zero flop. Sauce was solid and cheese was good. Crust was not as airy as it looked, and it slides into my 1b tier - top top stuff, but slightly behind the Lucali, John’s of the world.

Precision pizza. Without flaw. Plain was an 8.8; mushroom was a 9.2

The Ceres experience was one I’m very happy I did, but do not need to do ever again. Yes, the pizza is good, BUT there is no chance in hell I’m going back to stand in line at 10:30am just to pay $45+ for a pie to get it two hours later. The taste was very similar to Chrissy’s pizza if you’ve had it. Deliciously crunchy, a bit lacking in the sauce department, and then they sprinkled that damn parm all over it (even when asked not to). I really hate this new trend of places doing that. It takes over the pie’s smell and honestly ruins it for me. To each their own of course. Overall Ceres is a bit overrated in my book but wouldn’t fault anyone for trying.

Was not worth the wait, super disappointing. Not sure how they have the highest one bite rating.

The best pizza I’ve ever had, nice undercarriage, no flop crunchy pizza throughout, great sauce and just the right amount of, great mozzarella cheese and no napkin needed

4-hours after we ordered, we returned to pick up our pizza. Zero flop, crisp, good flavor, very light, but dry. Would have been better with more sauce. We ordered the cheese pizza, I think some of the other options would be better, like the tomato pie, but no slices and long wait means next time I’m in NY, I might try some of those 😎🤙

Phenomenal pizza well worth it. Just be prepared to get there early for opening.

Very good. We ended up waiting until we got back to the hotel to eat, which was our fault and we should have had a slice on the street. Crust was in point and good consistency.

Quality is the one word descriptor of Ceres. Sour dough crust gives a unique flavor each bite. Right amount of cheese. Robust sauce. However, a little lighter on the sauce than I would’ve preferred. Worth the hype (and wait)

Very good cheese pizza! Zero flop. Get in line early if you want to try. Got in line at 11:50am and waited about 40 minutes to get my name in. Came back at 3:15pm to eat. Great experience!

Quintessential NY Pizza. Perfect crunch, no sogginess. High quality ingredients and no inconsistency in consistency throughout the pie.

Excellent pizza. However the nduja is a 10.
