Crispy crunchy buttery crust. Cheese was solid. Sauce full of flavor. I live in Ft Laud. Detroit pizza>Chicago pizza. NY pizza still the best.

Solid slice. Light crust with a good crunch. Fresh ingredients and awesome sauce. Definitely worth a try in downtown TC!

While I looked for best pizza places in the area, this one caught my eye. I was not expecting much, really. A hole-in-the-wall off a small side street near downtown, I thought I’d stop in for some Detroit style pizza. Honesty was not really in the mood for DSP. It’s not my favorite, and I almost did not even go there due to being turned off by the trans flag hanging outside by the door. However, I decided to try it, and I realized that I had found the best pizza I have EVER had in my LIFE. I’m not even a Detroit style guy. But man. This pizza is an 8.6 and I will stand by that. Don’t believe me? Go try it yourself and tell me that’s not an 8.6. You might not even like pizza, but will fall in love. First, the caramelization around the edge was top-notch. Stood straight up. Was not burnt. Buttery, garlicky, and provided perfect crunch. The bottom was also firm, not hard crunchy, but crisp and was a different type of feel than the outside of the dish. Something very hard to get right. The dough was perfect, with a beautiful amount of sauce layered over the cheese and pepperonis. Overall flavor was incredible. Quality ingredients cooked to perfection. I don’t know what to complain about. I really don’t. If I was going to die tomorrow and could have one last pizza it would be this. I’m just as surprised as you are reading this. Yes, I would want a Detroit style pizza. And it’s not even in Detroit!! Too good to be true? Go try it. Best thing I’ve ever had. 8.6. That’s a review.

The execution is world class. Hard to believe since Michigan pedigree for pizza is lame. And we are not in Detroit. Every component is good, and the dough is well above average with great crunch. Far too yummy for Commander, Cowboy, and Giants fans. Go to the Pizza Hut, hold it up, and go back to prison. It’s 7.8 for the standard brick pie, which is fluffy and not at all as heavy as a brick. Bonus review heatwave margherita- killer, absolutely world class 8.3

Solid offering. Wish the sauce had more zip. Worth a try if you like Detroit style.

Based on other reviews, I had high hopes for this pizza. It was good, but I feel like they skimped on some ingredients, and that's why I can't score it as high as I was hoping for. May have just been a fluke, but will def give it another try someday.

True fantastic Detroit style. Beats Buddy’s. Must order early because they sell out early (can call early and schedule pick up for later.) And check out FB for any daily specialty pies!

Alright Frankie! I’ve been looking to go to this place for her last month and it was well worth the wait. One of the best DSP pizzas I’ve ever had. Ever. And that’s a review!
