Charlie's Pizza

Wow this has been the most well cooked slice I’ve had in the area. Nice crisp when folding the slice and a crunch with every bite. Unfortunately that’s where the praise stops. The slice is overly cheesed and lacking in taste because of it. The sauce is either so sparse or unseasoned that you can barely tell it’s there at all. Overall not a bad slice but could use some more sauce or some more seasoning in said sauce.

What did they do to my slice? Right where it’s cut into is where it just about fell apart while eating it. It was a very floppy slice. It had too much flour on it where I could taste it and feel it in my mouth. It had spots where there was no sauce. Now, to the good. Where the sauce was, it was the appropriate amount and good. The cheese was good. The crust tasted good. I like my slices under cooked straight out of the oven and then cooked to perfection when they heat them up, this was under cooked still. It has potential for sure, it’s just not there yet. All the flour on it is taking this score down though. Hopefully it was just a bad day for them. 6.2

Good average slice. Nothing to brag about, but hits the spot.

Crispy bottom but floppy toppy. Really wanted to like this more because their buffalo chicken za is the best. (Buffalo chicken za is 8.2) It just lacked some zing. Very good pie just needed a little more pizaz to make me say hey, that’s a great za.
