The best pizza I’ve had in the U.S. and true authentic Italian pizza!! Could eat it all day!

I had the pie with prosciutto speck and the cheese you use for tiramasu. Excellent ttttttt. Nothing like it anywhere on li. The crust is amazing. Nice and thin crispy as you can get from a wood fired oven.

Good pizza that came out with a solid crisp and good quality ingredients. The pepperoni had a saltier flavor than what I am accustomed to, but was good. If they had a sweeter sauce that would move the score up in my rating, as that is what I prefer. Staff were friendly, good spot.

A great Roman style representative for the island (formerly lacking in the style). Cool vibe inside and nice service

Some bites with too much char come bitter. This takes away from experience but the others have a good feel with strong sauce, fresh cheese and dough

Wow. I didn’t get to take a picture because that’s how excited I was once I saw the slice coming. If you’re a LI guy it’s worth going out of your way for this. Dave lowballed this one.

Good dough

I don’t usually agree with Dave but here he’s spot on!! The regular is hands down a 8.2, but the D.O.C. pizza is worth the extra 0.2 points. The whole menu is phenomenal. It’s truly authentic Italian cooking!

Ain’t she a beauty!! It’s not just the pizza, but the hostess who works there. Gigi’s is family owned and has a feel of an old school Sicilian pizza joint where all the ingredients seem imported from Italy. The oven is one of the nicest I have seen and it churns out pies in minutes. We got the regular pie and the spicy salami. Both were excellent in terms of sauce, cheese and was burnt along the edges in a proper way. The spicy salami pie was actually very spicy, so watch out! For dessert, grab the zeppellees with Nutella, truly delicious. Don’t let the exterior of the place fool you, Gigi’s is legit!!! Enjoy!!

This is really amazing

This place is consistently inconsistent. There are times that the pizza pushes the upper 8’s and other times where it still finds itself in the respectable upper 7’s. The real feature of this pie is the delicious char from their wood fired oven and their crust flavor, certainly a delicious highlight. Always made with fresh ingredients, give it a try and see where your pie finds itself in this range.

Looks amazing… they’re oven is awesome… taste was good, but how good it looked I honestly thought I was going to like it more. Don’t get me wrong, it WAS good, and I would def give it a try if you’re ever in area. All the locals seem to love it. Crust was thin, it’s fancy pizza.. Maybe me eating it while driving home because I was friggin STARVINGGGGG ruined the experience a touch… sauce dripping all over me like a slob.. looked like a crime scene… I never do that but had to be somewhere and it was a rush job pizza review… I was disappointed in myself actually… 😂 #slob

Very good margherita pie. Travelled home so not sure if it lost some of the crunch. If the undercarriage had some more crisp to it would go over the 8. Will try again!
