Chris' Pizza & Family Restaurant (Rutherford, NJ)

Not a lot of love among the ratings community for a mostly solid pie. Nothing special but not nearly as bad as some of the incredibly low scores I’m seeing. The dough is soft, thickish, could def use a little more crisp. With a hint of garlic flavor, the sauce is pretty good, definitely above average. The downside of the pie is the amount of grease produced by the generic, very standard, oily cheese. There isn’t much of a difference between this pizza and Josie’s in Lyndhurst; this is just a few notches below. But on a whole, this is better than the most basic pies, just nothing to go out of your way for. Definitely deserves more love than it has been getting here.
