Cinco De Mayo | Mexican Restaurant and Pizza 🍕

Neighborhood joint near West Scranton little league field, been around a few years. Looks like a good family spot for Mexican food. Went with the NY style that seems to be what they’re known for but there is a Sicilian on the menu too. Gotta let it cool a little of course but the crust is thin and firms up well, don’t expect crunchy. Has a slightly unusual mild flavor to it, not sure if it’s the dough or the cheese in the blend (reminded me of Swiss which would be weird). I really like the sauce so even tho I wouldn’t normally suggest extra on a thin pie, it was way better on this one and kicks the score up. Crust holds up surprisingly well. Bonus points for having a legit tres leches, finding one in a pool of milk is surprisingly hard to find. And this one has a layer of custard or pudding in the middle, hits the spot.
