Ciro's New York Pizza

Crisp, no flop, tasty - very NY style. Slices are big when by the slice! Recommend.

Thin. Minimal flop. Decent undercarriage. No charring or color on the crust. Taste is so-so, not bad, not amazing. This is nothing wrong with this pie, but nothing about it stands out either. Will get the job done, but you’ll forget about it in an hour.

Decent pizza. Cheese had a nice flavor crust was fresh.

Great tang. A little greasy and could use more crunch but man is this good. One of the top places in the area. Cheese is bursting with flavor, just the right amount of sauce.

I mean get REAL... just finished up with a NY Pizza Tour, and this is the first slice I had after getting home, and it absolutely competes. This is a GEM.

On the “out of NY/NJ” scale this place is a solid 8. I wouldn’t travel for this pie but if you’re local to the area it’s a solid pie. The pie is doughy (not my preference) but it’s not overly heavy. Sauce is nice but nothing special.

Delicious slice. Crust is nice and thin. Some flop. Good NYC texture, but a little greasy. Ciro’s never disappoints.

Plain slice-crust was super crisp and good amount of cheese. A little too light on the sauce. Overall flavor was a bit bland. The sausage slices were top notch. The score would be much higher if toppings counted.

Fairly underwhelming slice. Sauce needs more tang, cheese is bland. Crust had an okay crisp but the bottom is a little soggy. Not bad but forgettable

The pie had good presentation. I had high expectations coming into this review, i wasnt completely satisfied with the slice. It was a greasy slice not gonna lie. The slice didnt have much flop at all. The crust for me all around overpowered the taste of the pie itself which was disappointing, it was a bit to crunchy for my preference as well. Overall a decent slice not the best but not awful, decent tasting.

First things first. Whoever rated this place above a 9 is insane. That is a wild score. Absolutely out of hand. Also there are many people on yelp who have it 5 stars. That is wild. This is an average slice. It’s better than the thing you put in your oven when guests are over, however it lacks the integrity to justify the high scores it received. The crust is the zenith of the slice. It’s nice and crisp and has a audible crunch when you sink your teeth into it. It’s not bad. The cheese and sauce are the weak links. They are average. It is also a bit greasy. Overall, not a bad slice, nothing to write home about though.
