City Pizza

They should call this place Mega City Pizza because their slices are tremendous. I always steer clear of pizza spots that market pizza and fried chicken at the same time. I mean how good can the pizza be? I walked into City Pizza and had doubts right off the bat. Once I dig into the slice my perception changed. The slice was actually pretty good because it wasn’t too oily, zero flop and was perfectly crunchy. The crust was just ok. Lesson learned: don’t judge a pizza place by its cover!

Review 338. I was extra hungry but the cheese slice wasn’t bad but not the best. Had some crisp and the crust was ok. Very little sauce and cheese a little greasy. 6.6 on the plain The margarita slice was better 7.6 better sauce chunky tomato. Mozzarella cheese was good.

Floppy. Could use more flavor. It’s okay if you’re at Rudy’s bar and need something to soak up the beer.

Legit pizza.. when I think of NYC pizza, Bar Dough’s pizza meets that mental image. Good sauce, crisp crust and flavorful. Definitely a keep on my list to revisit

Burrata on a slice? Come on. Great zesty sauce. Crispy, almost no flop.

Cheese slice sub par but the buratta slice is a must try. Nice light sauce and excellent buratta bites mixed in. 6.8 cheese 8.5 buratta, average out to a 7.8

Solid flavor, good crisp, no flop. I actually really enjoyed it for a midtown hole in the wall
