5.9. Definitely too much cheese & too much funky powdered Parmesan taste. Fresh parm = way better. The crust is dry, it did have a good undercarriage which I appreciate but definitely not a hydrated dough from what I can tell. The sauce wasn’t great. Super underwhelming pizza especially for almost $20. This is a place people go to get buzzed & then think the pizza is amazing. I get it socially to go here with family & friends + The staff is nice but they could definitely step up their pizza game and re- write this recipe.

It had been a while since the last time I had pizza here and I don’t know why! Great pizza!!! Cheese, Sauce and Pep were perfect. Not greasy at all. The crust was lackluster.

Really good bar style thin crust. Absolutely love the people in there, they treat you like family. It’s almost impossible to find good thin crust pizza in the state of Michigan, but this is the spot that’ll get it done right.

It has been a while but, clover bar pizza still holds up. Nice thin(ish) tavern style pizza: cheese is zesty; sauce has a particular boldness about it; crust is nice and crisp; love the square slices, too. Little more refined score here than previously reviewed, but I can confidently say... the clover bar is still one of western Michigan’s best kept gems.
