Colony Grill

Bar style pizza, not too much sauce, cheese tasted like Wisconsin Mozzarella. Pizza bottom had some oil (or shortening) flavor came off slightly a burnt oil taste. Other than that it might have been a higher score. We arrived a bit late, where the pizza was on the cold side.

Great bar pizza. I enjoy the hot oil, but it hasn’t had as much of a kick in my last few visits. It’s worth the trip regardless.

Crispier than the Stamford location. Still paper thin and delicious.

Hot oil pie, 9pm on a Tuesday, $9.95+ tax Pros: Delicious, thin, crispy. Beautiful melt on the cheese, great ratio that only slightly favors the cheese but not dry at all Cons: Bit greasy but it's got hot oil on it so that's part of the deal Verdict: This is my second stop in at a Colony Grill. I tried the one in Stamford last year and was very pleased/impressed by the taste and quality of their bar pie. I was in the Norwalk area tonight and have been wanting to try another since I had the first. I did to-go last time which is never quite as good as dine in. Now that I've acquired a taste for this incredible bar pie, I think I might consider it my second favorite pizza overall - only behind Sally's in New Haven. Colony Grill is incredible

It’s good, but not as good as the original in Stamford. But I did give it a higher score than rikos.

The original hot oil pie with stingers. Tried a different local shop with hot oil pizza and was severely disappointed. Glad I tried the originators before dismissing hot oil entirely. Has the perfect kick of spice and crisp. The consistency of the cheese is really nice. Overall a really solid pie.

Superb pizza. Crispy texture and great taste. The taste of the combination of cheese and sauce is out of this world. I received a true pizgasm. 10/10

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Highly recommend. Definitely lived up to the hype everyone was talking about.
