Hot Oil Pie, 12:30pm on a Tuesday, $12.56
Pros: Crispiest pizza I ever had. Good flavor combo on nicely, nicely melted cheese, sauce, hot oil and cracker thin crispy undercarriage. The crust itself is pizza magic.
Cons: Don't entirely love the jalapeno garnish. A bit dry beyond the hot oil.
Verdict: This is considered a bar pie, it's almost another family of pizza altogether. Like the opposite of a Sicilian, but I'm into it. You could slam this on a rock and it would shatter like glass. Completely enjoyable, would recommend. I travelled for this and it was worth the trip into Stamford.
