Pizza Review
Most pizzeria/deli’s aren’t very good at doing both and this is no exception. While the deli side of the business is very solid, the pizza side is somewhat questionable. This tastes like boardwalk pizza, the kind you get 2 slices for $5 at the Jersey Shore. Very light on the sauce, practically nonexistent. The cheese is liquidy, sliding off on a river of grease with each bite. The sauce, cheese and oil produces a salty all around flavor with a hint of oregano poking through. The dough is firmish, decent crisp and is actually the prevailing flavor over the sauce and cheese. They need to pile on way more sauce and add some punch to give this pie some life. As it is, this is overpriced generic boardwalk style pizza; stick to the deli counter here.
