Corleone’s Famous New York Pizza & Gyros

I’ve had the OG Frank Pepe’s and Sally’s in New Haven, they’re both my overall #1 pizzas, and this is right there with them. If you told me this came from some old school shop in New Haven I’d 100% believe you. It’s legit.

This place is the best in the area. It’s been a staple in the community for over 12 years however, they’ve been getting a lot of negative feedback because of skyes pies who’s down the road from them. They been ambushing corleones for some time now and even stooping so low to tarnish their ratings. Skys is garbage anyway.

Best Pizza in the area

I’ve been to the big three in New Haven (Sally’s, modern, Pepe) and this pizza is exactly what it’s supposed to be. It is in my opinion better than the New Haven spots.

One bite, everybody knows the rules. Solid New Haven–style pizza: thin, charred, and cooked just right. Definitely the best pie you’ll find in Daytona and the surrounding area. Nice balance of crisp and chew on the crust, good sauce-to-cheese ratio, and a clean, classic flavor that doesn’t try too hard. Worth the trip if you’re in town.

The “ah beets” didn’t disappoint!!! Surprisingly this place wasn’t on the app when we went in and I mentioned it to the waitress and she said something to the owner. Good move them getting on the app. She initially said the owner didn’t think locals would care about the app but I explained pizza people use this app when the travel and Daytona is definitely a travel spot!!! So far the best pizza in the Daytona area by a LOT !!!!
