Cornersburg Pizza

First time having this pizza even though it’s kinda local! The crust had a nice crisp texture with a chewy center! It had a good flavor but I can’t think what it reminded me of! It had plenty of sauce, right at the line for being too much and had a good sweet flavor. The cheese tasted fresh, and the pepperonis were thick! If they were a little closer this would be a go to spot for sure!

I feel like lately I’ve been bringing down the averages of places with pretty high scores, unfortunately this is the same situation. It looked like a pizza I might enjoy looking at it, but the taste was not there. The cheese blend did not taste like it belonged on pizza. The sauce tasted like the frozen pizzas you were forced to sell in elementary school. The undercarriage was so soft and lacked any texture that was much needed on this pizza. The end crust did had a good bite and taste I must say, but that was about it. Not a fan of this pizza at all, but it sounds like a lot of people are. They’ve been around since 1963!

Hands down best pizza in the Youngstown area. With Wedgewood in second, and Westgate 3rd. Wedgewood used to hold the top spot when I was a kid. Taste buds got better the older I got.

Classic Y-Town pizza. Grew up eating at the one in Struthers. Nothing fancy just solid all the way around. Love the green peppers on the sauce.
