DAVE YOU MUST GO!! My wife and I came here while we were on our honeymoon last month. Very cool place! Ben The Pizza Guy is the man! Wife’s Score: 9.5 New Haven’s Original Apizza: 9.6 I never want to have pizza another way after Ben’s tomato pie. His sauce is out of this world, so simple but the biggest explosion of flavor you’ll ever experience. If a place has “Apizza” on their menu it has a standard to uphold. Ben killed it!! The Frat Boy: 9.5 So light yet has an amazing crisp and feels airy. The fresh mozzarella is killer. The dough is consistent on every pizza every day. Best crust I’ve had. The Pizza Party (Wife’s Favorite): 9.4 I HATE pepperoni pizza. However, this is one of the greatest things I’ve ever tasted in my life. The flavor that Ben brings to the table will leave you speechless, it is unlike any typical pepperoni pizza. The char and tang of the pepperonis bite back and the hot honey is the secret weapon. I am a cheese all day any day guy…. But this pie is something else… I recently made an 18 hour drive with my brother and West By God was on the route but 45 min off the road. 1000% worth the detour to have this amazing pizza and talk it up with my friend Ben. Ben, bravo my friend! Can not wait to see you again!
