Covello's Pizza

It looks fluffy, but it’s actually thin. No flop. The cheese blend is the winner in the slice. Sauces a little bit bland. The ratings for this place are too low

Love the vibes inside this place, old school pizza place vibes. The plain had no flop but a little greasy. It had a little fluff to it but a nice crunch with each bite. I enjoyed the sauce and cheese. Better than football pizza. 7.1. The Sicilian also had a decent crunch to it with that fluff. Also a 7.1. Honestly way better than I expected for both slices. This is my first day of jury duty and I’m excited to try other dishes/slices from here.

Eye test? Unclear. Neighborhood- where’s my gun? Here goes……. I can’t fault this. Cheese- ok chew but don’t love taste. Sauce-not sweet but above average. Dough- taste very plain and crisp nothing special. Ratio solid. Overall a hair above average but no complaints. Sauce is the star.

Great hidden gem of Trenton! Great old Italian slice of pizza. Incredibly fresh dough cooked perfectly. Little bit cheesy but the sauce was delicious.

Two very greasy slices that were big & heavy stacked with cheese yet on the thinner side of thickness. Nice amount of toppings. Zero flop. A little crunch with big crust that had some crisp. Great price
