Hitting up Crust Kitchen for a pepperoni pie. No flop, a bit of grease but it is a pepperoni pie so no points deducted. Crust was good, had a nice crunch, cheese to sauce was on the high side. Sauce had a nice garlic flavor when I could taste it.

Great flavors in the cheese and sauce, that's about where it ends. The crust is doughy, and the cheese just slid off the pizza. Lots of flop, no crunch on the crust. Could have been 2x better with an extra 1-2min in the pizza oven they use. The restaurant has a wide variety in the menu from burgers, salads, to sandwiches which were great. If you are staying in hotel circle like we were, it's a good close place to eat, just nothing "astounding" about it.

Was surprised how well the cheese and sauce coexisted together. Was between a 7.4 and a 7.6, but in the end the 7.6 felt right. Nice find at my first stop in San Diego.
