The owners of this joint are an absolute 10! They really are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Another 10 is the price of a pie...$10 cash! Can’t beat that in this day & age. I wish I could also give this pizza a 10 but we’re a ways away from that. The dough is soft, floury and somewhat buttery, leading to a very thin and delicious crust. The undercarriage could definitely use a little more crisping to give the pie some crunch. The sauce is decent, not exactly bursting with flavor but still better than generic pizza sauce; it just doesn’t have a distinct flavor to separate it from average sauces. The cheese is kind of heavy and rigid, lacking in oozy gooey flow. It’s more of a thick whole milk mozzarella, adding weight to the pie. Overall, this is good pizza, unfortunately it’s not great, but it’s certainly better than average pies. I’d love to give a much higher score because these people deserve a rating that matches their kindness; but I’m taking my heart out of it a giving a very fair score for a very solid pizza.
