Since I heard about this place I have been super excited to try. When we arrived the look of the slices had me even more excited. We went with a whole pie and let me tell it was huge!! I wish they would have cooked it a bit longer and maybe they pulled it out earlier since we dined in and was waiting. However, it did give it the super NY flop. The crust was super thin, which I love, and the outer crust was flaky and light. The cheese was a little on the greasy side but not so much that it messed with the taste. The sauce was a highlight. Super simple and fresh and pretty sure made with San Marzano tomatoes. After the first bite I will admit it gave off Joe’s of NY vibes and flavor. I really wished it was cooked a little longer and we could have been dealing with the 8’s. With that said, this is about as close as your going to get to an authentic NY slice in Oklahoma. Definitely worth the drive and a must try if in the area.
