Dan Apizz’ Man New Haven Style. Food Truck in Sarasota Fl. Im a NJ born guy and I love all styles, this was the first true New Haven Style I’ve had and it was the best thin pizza I’ve ever had, maybe the best pizza I’ve ever had. I actually worked at Pete and Elda’s for a Summer and this was far superior. To make it even better a cheese pie was only $14. I guarantee 8.4+, do not let the fact it’s in a parking lot of brew pub sway you from going there. And it’s only a block from the Orioles spring training stadium. You will think the box is empty when they hand it to you bc it’s so thin and light. Please consider a visit bc the guys were extremely nice and I honestly think you will fall in love with the pizza. Check the hours and days of operation bc they will do their own thing sometimes for events. Look forward to your review. Thank You Tony and family. This is only one of the four great pizzas we sampled. In addition to the Margarita we had Dan’s White pizza, Fugetabout the meat, and pepperoni. All were thin, crispy, and light with the right amount of char. Dan is a great guy who is passionate about his pizzas. It’s worth tracking him down. For my money, far and away the best pizza in the area.

Holy Shiz! Spectacular—get there early (they sell out). There will be minor flop in middle, but sauce and coal flavor is ON POINT!

Always fantastic! Crispy crust and delicious. First time you try it you have to try it there, fresh out of the oven! (For reference in the photo I asked for it to not be sliced and brought it home)

Dans is hands down best pizza in Sarasota… coming from New Haven native (Sally’s guy) … get there, you’ll love it

This is easily the best pizza in SRQ….and it’s not even close. So glad Portnoy didn’t know about this when he was in Sarasota because poor Dan would be overwhelmed.

Hands down the best pizza I have ever eaten. Dan is the nicest dude and he took the time to explain his passion for the ingredients. I drove 4 hours for this pizza and if it were further I would totally fly for it.

I love New Haven style Pizza and Dan APIZZ is right up there with Sally’s and Joe Peppe. Best pizza in Sarasota. Uses high quality non GMO, local ingredients.
