Stevie Slice traveling to Florida and checking out some pizza. Deangelo’s is a small place that seems to pump out a lot of takeout. We ordered a margarita pizza and some traditional Italian dinners . I would recommend this place for chicken parm and spaghetti and meatballs. As to the pizza, I can’t give it a very good score. It looks decent in the picture , but we asked for well done , and it was more like raw. The under carriage was way too soft, the pizza had no personality , and it was kind of mushy and not particularly tasty. I liked the food but not the pizza

They manipulate the water. Good for around here. Def better than most in area.

One bite. Everyone knows the rules. Drove half an hour & it was worth rush-hour traffic on 95. Without a doubt, the crunchiest crust I’ve had in my 20 years in SoFL. It was like Long Island pizza, but the places I’d go for sit-down & not take out a slice. It was simply good pizza. Nothing had to be added. We’re hoping to move up that way soon & if it happens, this will be our go to 100%.

D'Angelo's is a small place on Hood Rd and the food is really good. Tonight I got the large with pepperoni. It had a lot of flop but the thin layer on the bottom of the crust was crisp. The crust flavor was a little fiery but not too burnt. A slight but pleasant salt taste was in the cheese. The sauce had great flavor. This was greasy but it was definitely from the pepperoni. Worth trying.
