We elected for the deep dish, which I think Lindsay was disappointed it wasn’t one with sauce on top. What’s interesting though is that without the outer crust, this is almost a thin crust pizza with a ton of cheese. To each their own, but I enjoyed it. What was great is that the dough was cooked perfectly. It had a nice crunch and stayed together. Unlike a lot of deep dish places where it gets soggy. It reminded me of Beggars, but a little different. Sauce was savory and substantial. A ton of cheese that was nicely caramelized and has a buttery finish. Pepperoni was standard. Sausage may have been a little dry, but wasn’t greasy. It’s a good spot to crush a pizza, then do some shopping. Bonus points for their ranch dressing, which was amazing.
