Great flavor but they burnt the crust. Will have to try them again. For now that’s a review

Could’ve been cooked a minute or two longer but still very good. Crust was great. Cheese and sauce had pretty good flavor. Doesn’t feel super cheesy, the sauce is stronger in flavor. Really good pizza

Light, flakey - special slices are good but regular is next level.

Just found the contender for best pizza in Long Island!! Dario is serving up slices just like I like them. They are well done, crispy but not burnt, with good quality sauce and cheese, with a sprinkle of basil. Their slices are very similar to Taglio out in Mineola, so if you like this check out Taglio. The upside down Sicilian or Roman Style slice was even better than the regular. On top of everything I mentioned above, this slice is fluffy and the crust is on point in terms of crispyness. I would love to go back and grab a fresh pie to see if that would move up the score. Also, they have a great selection of desserts, check out the Nutella filled zeppolas.

We got a whole classic pie and multiple specialty slices. Each of the specialty slices were amazing on their own. The crust and flavor were dead on. As for the round pie, Dave and the community do not lie! It hit the spot for this former NY couple that lives in the “pizza desert” of PA. The crust was super thin but held its crispness with each slice. The brightness of the tomatoes peaked through the perfect amount of cheese. Even the basil was just right and didn’t get in the way. After four slices and an equally good Sicilian slice, I wasn’t overly bloated sailing into a carb coma, going to show how well the pizza is made! Dario’s WILL BE a stop to go to each time we come back “to the Island” and maybe sometimes when we leave too! P.S. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. Treasure this place.

Easily the best pizza on Long Island. There is so many pizzerias on Long Island that are so alike. The slice had a perfect char with a crispy crust that was spectacular! The ingredients were super fresh, which gave the slice a flavor profile that made every bite enjoyable. You just don’t find this type of pizza on Long Island. Worth the trip, you won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely phenomenal

Visiting Long Island from the Philly area and found this place through the app. Definitely legit. Very very light crust which was really good. On appearance it is hard to tell how crisp it is, but right on the first bite that is the thing that catches your attention, definitely a surprising crisp to it. Prices are also extremely reasonable for how good it is. Because it is light, you may need to order more to fill yourself up. Great slices

We ordered a regular pie (pictured ) and a vodka pie, the regular pie was very good, I would have liked a little more cheese, the vodka pie (rated) was amazing on every level, I totally suggest trying it

Very similar to Lindustri but I think the crust is even better.

Really good specialty slices

My wife and I like to go to Dario’s or other local places like Chef Gigi’s, Umberto’s, that have been on the reviews. I have to say that this visit to Dario’s was the best pie we have had all year. It was perfect. Well Done but still not burnt. Perfect char without that cut your tongue crisp bottom. Cheese was perfectly spread out. I feel in the past there was just a touch more cheese required on his pies. But the ratio of cheese to sauce was spot on. The staff has also become more friendly. When we first would go you might sit there waiting unless you make it a point to ask for your turn. These guys are always checking to see who’s up next or ready to be helped. Truly the best pizza on Long Island and I can’t wait to bring my brother in law and sister in law with us next time. We will eat inside and order to really get that straight to table pie. Dario wasn’t there the last two times we were here and that is big. Usually when the main guy is missing it can go down a point or two. Not these guys. Good work Dario’s. You have a customer for life.
