Davenport's Pizza Palace - Mtn Brook

The pizza was good. Above average I’d say. Wish I knew that they cut it up bar style; also ordered 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 sausage but it came with those spread evenly across the pizza. Good, just be specific when you order.

Love how they make this pizza and the style of it. It’s a little floppy and a tad doughy but the taste is solid and the crust is rly good. Only thing is that the pizza itself is kinda falling apart. Other than that solid and a great atmosphere in a great place.

Great pizza, quick, not expensive. Perfect crust thickness, good quality cheese. Sliced into squares, very unique!

Davenports is a Birmingham staple, and loved by many. However, Davenports pizza is rated as highly by reviewers simply because there is very little competition for good pizza in Birmingham.

Alright Franky, I’m back in Bham for work so I had to revisit this place I randomly found three years ago. First impressions are damn I love cheese over the toppings. The crust is light yet crunchy, sauces hidden by the cheese but you for sure know it’s there, cheese is a good blend I’m sure of several different cheeses. Pepperonis are nice and crips, that’s always a good thing. It’s got good flop and is grease but you know what we like some grease. This is good pizza.
