Dave's Pizza

Good pizza, I asked them to cook it well done and crispy. Its no new haven pie but its local to me and I’ll go back.

Made a return trip to Dave's pizza for take out. It's been awhile since my last visit. Sounds like they may have changed ownership. Went with the Portuguese steak pizza and a meat lovers. Was quoted 20 minutes for the pizza and both were ready when i arrived. Pizzas had a decent amount of toppings. Good cheese coverage. Not too greasy for a meat lover. Both pizzas had a decent taste. I think the portuguese steak had a little more taste in the past. If I had to choose one, I'd go with the meat lovers. Good undercarriage, not too floppy.

They gave me this… absolutely amazing it’s a shame it’s $48 took me 1 second to finish.

Not very good ever since the old owners left

I was a bit skeptical, but pleasantly surprised. Solid pizza in the most unlikely of places. Cheesey. Good flop.

Sloppy presentation, sloppy pizza. Crust and dough have a good fresh flavor to it but unfortunately that is all you taste in this pizza. The sauce is so minimal you get little to no flavor and the cheese is again minimal and average at best. Which is a shame I had high hopes for this pizza. The only thing I would rate high is garlic bread knots I got which are packed with flavor. But again as I said the dough is really good and has flavor so of course the knots are going to be good. Definitely do not see myself ordering from here again without some major changes. The only reason why I give this a score about 5 is because the dough is really good.

Decent ny style pizza. Good flavor, decent crisp. Balanced sauce.
