DaVinci Pizza on the Square

Sitting directly on the Square in Scranton PA is one of the most well done, raised, real pizza doughs that there is. Chomping through this pizza is like reading a good book; it’s hard to put down once you get started. The taste is just so real and fresh and the crust was amazing. #PizzaMooners

Strong like bull

Always remember this place fondly from the ND days and got to chat with the owner through Bob-o It’s not bad in terms of overall taste which sets it above normal college Za in the area but really thin, greasy, and floppy, the extra sauce doesn’t do much for it aside from giving the blah crust something to dip in

7.5 is whyyy over rated, sauce was the only redemptive quality of the pizza. Don’t fuck around and find out

Round New York style, super greasy with lots of flop.

Strong solid NY slice. Wonderful fresh tasting sauce. Perfect cheese blend. Nice thin crust. Crust could have been done just a shade more to help with the crispness. My favorite slice in Scranton.

Americano & Pepperoni. Nice & thin. No flop. Crispy. Solid slices. Americano is a nice blend of cheeses. Smooth. Creamy. Worth a shot for sure!

Great hospitality here, they just recently pulled a pizza out of the oven but they still insisted they warm it up to perfection for me. No flop, great perfect crisp. Pretty good pizza overall but still feels like it’s missing just a little something I can’t peg down what it is but a good slice.

Great pizza, light and crispy with a nice crunch. A pretty standard NYC style slice. The Grandma Style is deluxe. Easily an 8.2 if that’s your style.
