A serious hidden gem because it’s located on the outskirts of New Haven, but do not sleep on Dayton Street. It’s tasty without being gourmet, and it will be served on either the largest tray or pizza box you will ever encounter. Their pepperoni is thin and fresh, and the crust cooked to perfection. If you’re there, support local, and get a Foxon Park cream soda. Your taste buds will be eternally grateful to this impeccable review.

Cheese fell apart when I pulled the slices apart. Solid undercarriage with light char. Good pie, tasted even better because I was so freaking hungry

Nice crisp, decent crust flavor, average sauce flavor, average cheese. I had to add quite a bit red peppers. I’ve had better, I’ve had worse.

Feel lucky to have lived and grown in New Haven. Very familiar with all the local Apizza joints and many are great but they do tend to get salty. Dayton is an underrated gem, somewhere between football pizza and Apizza that won’t leave you feeling too dehydrated .
