De Lorenzo's Tomato Pies

Very Crispy, great pizza, sauce was great. Very light. Was able to finish a whole large pie. Different style than I’m used to.

Solid Pizza. Undercarriage a little light probably because it was a busy night and the pizzas were a bit underdone. No discernible crunch, but the crust was really tasty. Pizzas were great, not my favorite pepperoni, but definitely a standout Pizza worth coming back for. Maybe get it when it's not so busy. We got it on a Friday night at the beginning of the dinner rush.

Perfect crust, perfect sauce , needs a tiny bit more cheese

This could have been upper 8’s low 9’s, the flavor of the pie overall was fantastic, but the crust was completely burnt. I didn’t order it well-done. And I love a nice char, but the crust flavor on the edges was a strong burnt, and certainly took away from the enjoyment of what otherwise would have been fantastic. It seems like there’s just some inconsistency here that needs to be worked out.

Really good! I ordered it well done. Sauce is awesome, cheese is good, crust is average.

Very fresh pizza! Tomato pie style - thin and crisp

Good Trenton tomato pie but I was a bit disappointed thinking it was gonna be better with all the high scores they received. Lots of good staff on hand which really helped with a very crowded restaurant.

Light with fantastic flavor. Great Tomato Pie and worth a trip to give it a try. Will be back.

Super tasty crust. Crispy with an edge of char. The tomatoes were the star of the show, a vibrant, succulent pie.

Amazing. Best pizza I’ve ever had in my life.

Perfectly crispy delicious crust (ordered regular) cheese was fantastic and the fresh tomatoes on top really were excellent. I think I would probably order it well done next time to get that no flop that Dave had but really enjoyed this delicious pizza. Definitely go and enjoy it inside as well great people and great service.

Loved the tomatoes. Don’t think it’s reaching 9 levels but very solid

Traveling from Boston to Philly area. Picked DeL’s for two reasons, one, rare “Tomato Pie” style, two, Dave’s score(a touch high in my estimation) All the flavors together were excellent well balanced. The crust was crispy, no flop, except for the fact it has little flavor. Crust didn’t seem to have any depth or fermentation. Super fresh tomato, sausage and basil. Excellent pie, just not the 9.1 I expected.

Fantastic pie. Awesome crisp I love the sauce with the crushed tomatoes. Nice char as well. Also ordered a sausage and pepperoni pie and that was fantastic as well.

Dave rated this a 9.2—and he nailed it. The place was packed, with only standing room available, which already told me something about its popularity. The first bite hits you with the freshness of the tomatoes, followed by perfectly balanced cheese. Overall, the pizza was fantastic, and I completely agree with Dave’s score.
