Dee Jay’s Hoagie’s & Pizza

Haven’t been here since Bobby C was in town. Not bad it’s like a poor man’s old forge pizza. The crust is unique, it’s not light and fluffy like normal old forge, more of a flat, average width crust that’s a little chalky. Like the edges though nice crisp to it. The sauce is okay probably doesn’t need the extra sauce doesn’t kill it either but definitely has old forge style vibes. The cheese is good and can’t really put my finger on the blend, maybe American and mozerella but more on the American side? Owner seems like a cool nice guy which always helps. Falls just short of an 8 for me.
