Was visiting the Adirondacks and took a detour to hit this famous pizza spot in the NY Capitol Region. The bread dough makes for a heavy slice along with a pretty thick coat of cheese and some robust, chunky sauce. Great flavor, not too different from good Westchester pizza I grew up on, just a doughier texture. Nicely cooked to compensate, I would drive an hour for this if I lived in Upstate, NY

Great pizza joint. Different but extremely great crust...good cheese / sauce ratio on the traditional cheese slice...amazing ingredients (sausage, peppers) on the other slice. Highly recommend trying it if you can get in (extremely limited seating).

Very unique pizza. The Italian bread dough crust is outstanding. Got better with every bite. This one sneaks into the 8's.

This is the fresh mozzarella. Really good pie. Dough is the star of this pizza. Very fluffy with a charred outside. Sauce had a nice tang. Cheese was good, wish there was a bit more on the pizza. Had the Hangover Cake after the pizza. That cake was straight fire🔥

Good pizza in the heart of Troy NY. The dough is a bit chewy, but the pizza has a good undercarriage and a crunchy crust. You can not only smell the fresh ingredients in the store, but you can taste it in the pizza.

Great pizza! Good crust, perfectly cooked, great cheese. Sauce could have had a little more tang but all in all a must stop for the capital region.

Excellent pizza. Crust, cheese and sauce are very good. Just missing the under carriage crunch

One 3 hour drive for pizza, everybody knows the rules. The bread dough is king here. It’s delicious. The crust is just as much a star of the show as the sauce (slight tang but not overly seasoned) and the cheese (real mozzarella, not laid on too thick, but enough to say “pizza needs cheese guy”). Prez was right to adjust the score, it got better as it cooled down. Reheated the next day on a pizza stone, the flop went away and the crisp was dynamite. Big score. 8.5. That’s a review.

One of the better pizzas in the capital region. Soft crust, delicious sauce, just the right amount of cheese. Spectacular combination to make a very desirable pizza. Crust tastes almost like a bread, very unique.
